The History of Traum-Rand

Chapter 1
The Balance Broken
The Balance Broken
Traum-Rand’s history begins with the Creators. Each one of the Creators was a part of a legion of gods whom looked over a world called Himmel Königreich. The Creators were the lesser of Himmel Königreich’s gods. They wanted power, but the other gods made sure they were kept in check. The laws of the gods were simple, one must obey his higher authority, or they would be banished and ridded of their powers.
The higher gods were as follows:
The lesser gods were as follows:
There were a total of 13 greater gods and 13 lesser gods; this was to keep things balanced. However the balance was soon to break. Some of the lesser gods grew infuriated that their prowess was not recognized and respected, while other gods just wanted more power. The first of the gods to betray the others was The Doctor.
The Doctor’s betrayal had blind sighted the other greater gods, even most of the lesser gods. He wanted power over all of the gods, for he felt as though he was the most important of them all for creating life forms. He attacked the God of Order first. The Doctor had almost won the fight but before he made the final blow, the Goddess of Space sent him into the mortal world in haste, only being able to take a portion of his power away. The Doctor was then sealed away from the realm of gods.
The next god to betray the others was The Dread Prince. After The Doctor was banished he felt as though he should fill in his place. A few of the greater gods approved of this idea but most of them thought it was a bad decision. The Dread Prince grew angry when he was refused the throne of The Doctor. The greater gods decided to banish him before things grew out of hand. The Dread Prince was not removed of his power though for he fled the realm of gods before the others were able to get to him. The Gods then sealed their realm away from The Dread Prince.
The Robot Queen and The Jester who were good friends of The Dread Prince acted next. Instead of asking for more power they attacked the greater gods at random. The God of Time was their first target and was greatly injured, it wasn’t until the god’s of fire and earth intervened that The Jester and The Robot Queen were defeated. Before their powers were taken away The Beast Keeper jumped in and sacrificed his powers for The Jester and The Robot Queen to escape. The Beast Keeper was slain instead of banished like the others. The Greater gods had no choice but to seal away the gate to their realm for all… even them selves if they were to leave.
The Oracle who had seen al of this coming was amused. He knew he wouldn’t succeed in gaining higher power, but he knew he would be able to take some of the higher power down with him. The Oracle was always known to be selfish and self centered, so the greater gods already had their eyes on him. The Oracle was good friends with the Goddess of Dreams at the time; he used their friendship to his advantage. He convinced her that the Jester was good and was corrupted by The Robot Queen. The Oracle asked the goddess to give The Jester a second chance and bring him back to their realm. The Goddess of Dreams, forgetting that the realm of gods was sealed away from outsiders, went to fulfill The Oracle’s request.
The God of Time knew what The Oracle was up to and confronted him, but The Oracle was prepared for this encounter. The Oracle had taken the Goddess of Dreams ring before she left that acted as a key to the realm of the gods. The Oracle fought the God of Time and took his ring while in the midst of battle. The Oracle’s plan had gone well and then without any hesitation at all, he banished the God of Time from the realm.
The Goddess of Space who was said to be the God of Time’s lover attacked The Oracle in rage. The Goddess knew that she would not win this fight for The Oracle had grown stronger, so she opened a portal to the realm of mortals in hopes to trap The Oracle. After a long battle she was able to procure the rings from The Oracle. With her ring and the two others, she forged a book of gateways to other worlds, the “Book of Dimensions.” She threw the book into the portal and then grabbed The Oracle. In a desperate attempt to seal him away from the realm she not only threw him into the Portal but also herself.
ThE aLtErNaTe ReAlItY mAkEr always had a thing for The Oracle; she loved him even though he didn’t love her. She grew upset when seeing The Oracle cast out of the realm of gods. Instead of attacking other gods or banishing them, she left the realm in pursuit of the one she loved. The gods questioned why she left but decided to ignore it and focus on the broken balance in order that they were left with.
Chapter 2
The New Alliances
The New Alliances
The balance of the gods was now broken, new laws and new actions had to be put into order. The remaining gods all became of equal power and sought out new gods to replace the ones lost. Only 16 gods remained, 6 betrayed, 3 left, 1 dead. The mortals started to question their divine higher authorities and began to break away from religion. The gods became displeased and tried to restore the faith of their followers, but were unsuccessful.
The God of Time and The Goddesses of Space and Dreams had joined together and decided to start a new. They built a new world, one mirrored to their very image. They called this new world Untere Welt. The world was divided into three sections, each one dedicated to the gods whom ruled it. One was dedicated to time and was called Zeit-Rand. Another was dedicated to space and was called Raum-Ende. The last was dedicated to dreams and was called Traum-Himmel. Each land reflected the god whom ruled over it.
After a few years of wandering, The Oracle had gathered up the other five outlaw gods in hopes of getting revenge. Once all six gods were joined in alliance they sought out a haven for their new world. They planned on using this world to create an army powerful enough to defeat the gods whom had them banished. The Oracle was titled their leader by decision of the other banished gods. As their leader he promised their revenge and would do everything in his power to ensure it would happen. The others praised him and thought of him as a god among gods. Each god proved their loyalty to The Oracle by giving him a portion of their power. The Oracle was pleased by this and in return he promised them each a shrine to their glory once the new world was created. The six gods ventured on for years until they reached a spot in the thread of time and space where they could make their new home.
Chapter 3
Traum-Rand
Traum-Rand
After the gods had found a place to make their kingdom they began building. Each one of them put equal effort into creating their new world. Second by second, minute by minute, day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year, their kingdom grew. After 2,019 years their home was complete. A vast world filled with deserts and forests, oceans and marshes, mountains and plains. It was complete, finally their efforts put off and now they had a marvelous world to call home. They named this place after the location in space and time that they had built it in, Traum-Rand, or also known as Dreams Edge.
At first Traum-Rand was empty, no civilizations, just primitive beings who ate their own excrement. The Gods decided that they needed a place to create their armies. Not only did they need that but they needed a place to be able to hide amongst the mortals. They decided to build a sanctuary. They built their sanctuary deep within the world’s surface and built a lab for genetic experimentation. The place also housed something The Oracle managed to find on his search for the other gods… the “Book of Dimensions.” The six gods made this place their lair and called it ‘Sanctum Sanctorum,’ which is said to be the most beautiful place in Traum-Rand.
45 years before Traum-Rand was fully complete a civilization was born. A race of elves created a city dedicated to The Jester. The city was named Mae’Estaa or “The Untouched City” in their native tongue. The city started out as a small village built in the trees. It wasn’t until after Traum-Rand was fully complete that their city started to grow and become more advanced. In the year 100 P.C. a temple was built to The Jester. It was in Mae’Estaa where the first religion of Traum-Rand was established. The religion was focused on The Jester and had him viewed as the center of the universe. The other gods grew jealous but knew that this soon would fade.
In the year 167 P.C. Traum-Rand’s second city was established. A race of neo angels built a kingdom in the sky. The city was dedicated to ThE aLtErNaTe ReAlItY mAkEr and was named Aelor, or “Sky Wing” in the neo angelic tongue. The neo angels decided it was time to build a temple in the image of their deity, and so the temple of ThE aLtErNaTe ReAlItY mAkEr was built. In the year 1,289 P.C. humans started to inhabit the city with neo angels. It wasn’t until the year 11,700 P.C. till humans fully took over.
In the year 2,557 P.C. a third city was built. The city was built by humans and was built on the shores of Traum-Rand. The city was named Vhey’Ghan. Vhey’Ghan at first was used as a fishing city and was lowly populated. The people that lived there started to get diseases and eventually fled in the year 4,071. The city was re-inhabited in the year 5,606 when cures for the diseases were found.
The Doctor grew tired of the current advance species and decided to create a new race. Combining humans and wolves together he created a highly intelligent race of people called ‘woflkin.’ In the year of 10,902 P.C. the woflkin built a city in honor of their creator. The city was built in the cold mountains of the north, the city was named Solstace. A temple to The Doctor was built and the world’s first arena was built. The wolfkin were the first to recognize all six gods and referred to the as the Creators.
Neo angels were starting to lose their homeland to humans. They decided to build a new city. In the year 11,050 P.C. Aria was built. Aria was built in the vast desert of Traum-Rand. The other four cities decided to declare Aria to be the capitol of Traum-Rand. In the year 11,338 P.C. the temple of The Robot Queen was built.
Chapter 4
The Scarlet War
The Scarlet War
The Scarlet War was the first and most historic battle of Traum-Rand. In the Year of 11,700 P.C. the humans fully took over Aelor and went under rule of their new emperor. The new emperor of Aelor felt as though his city should be the capitol of Traum-Rand. From the years 11,701 to 12,462 P.C. he built an army. Their army consisted of over a million well trained soldiers and 50,000 tamed dragons. Aelor became known as the scarlet city from this point on and its grand army was named the scarlet legion.
In the year 12,463 P.C. Aelor declared war on Aria by making a surprise attack on their city. Aria lost the first attack, but then fought back at equal power with their powerful wolfkin allies from Solstace. The war lasted for 500 thousand years and in the war both sides lost and gained allies constantly. The war came to a stalemate and was called of once the population of all the major cities reached a critical minimum. The elves were affected the worst by this and had to turn to inbreeding which resulted in the creation of orcs.
In the year 512,463 P.C. the war came to an end and civilization started to build back up. 37 years later a new city was built by the Queen of the sun in hopes of restoring peace to Traum-Rand. The city was completed in 512,500 P.C. and was named Eden. Eden was declared the new capitol of Traum-Rand in the year 581,321 P.C.
Chapter 5
The Creators’ Wrath
The Creators’ Wrath
In the year 610,987 P.C. the six creators became furious. The people of Traum-Rand were still primitive and technology was equal to that of the medieval ages. They relied too much on the magic found within the nature of Traum-Rand. This infuriated the Robot Queen. Creativity in Traum-Rand was dull; music was mere hums and beating on objects. This infuriated the Jester. There were very few species and races. This enraged the Doctor. There was little death, most people died of age and no dark or evil deeds were done. This had angered the Dread Prince greatly. The land was barely touched and construction had completely stopped, people had also ignored the laws of Traum-Rand. This pissed the AlTeRnAtE ReAlItY mAkEr off. The Oracle however was probably the most enraged. The people of Traum-Rand ignored the six creators and started worshiping false gods and not a single person had come to them for experimentation.
The six creators later that year decided to reveal themselves. They had gathered all the citizens of Traum-Rand in Vhey'Ghan. The six creators showed the people of Traum-Rand exactly who their gods were. The AlTeRnAtE ReAlItY mAkEr was first to show her power by bringing an asteroid crashing down onto Vhey'Ghan killing all the residents within it. The Dread Prince demonstrated his power next by bringing the dead back to life. The Docter had his turn next; he took animals and combined them with humans making insectoids, nekos, inus, werewolves and many other creatures. The Jester wanted to show his power next, he took the asteroid that had crashed and transformed it into many creatures of an alien look. The Robot Queen then demonstrated her power by taking a select few people and transformed their whole bodies into mechanical parts. Now it was the Oracles turn. The Oracle stepped forward to the people who cower before him. He then took all the magic they had away and told them. "If you want it back, then you must prove yourselves worthy to us and serve us." The six creators then left.

Post Years
After Vhey’Ghan’s destruction a new city was built. The city was named New Vhey’Ghan and became a port town. The city was built in the year 780,004 P.C. A temple to the Oracle was built and the first prison of Traum-Rand was built. The destroyed Vhey’Ghan was restored to its former glory and was renamed Old Vhey’Ghan. A temple dedicated to the Dread Prince was then built. Eden later that year built a temple in honor of all six creators.
A few years later more arenas were built, one in each of the major cities except for Eden and Old Vhey’Ghan. The arena became a world wide event where competitors fought to reach the top and gain fame and glory.
In the year 781,003 P.C. the creators made a guardian for the woods that surrounded Sanctum Sanctorum. The guardian was a fairy named Ana and made sure that getting into Sanctum Sanctorum was a most difficult chore.
In the year 995,219 P.C. the creators create avatars to become heirs to their thrones.
