-Humans-
The most basic race of them all. No description is needed really.
-Telepaths-
Humans that have the ability to move objects and converse with other telepaths with their minds.
-Neo Angels-
Over many years angels have roamed the land basically looking over people. (The Angels I speak of are not referring to those of the bible. They are just winged humans who are no longer living.) After technology grew along with the knowledge of manna stones, angels adapted into a unique way. The either took on a form of element or became robotic.
-Wolfkin-
Wolfkin are believed to be the result of many years of evolution from werewolves. They however are not. Wolfkin actually are the humanoid results from dogs. They stand upright have emotion and they speak many different languages. They are renowned for their keen sense of smell and their warfare tactics.
-Phantoms-
Phantoms... neither living nor dead. Most people fear them because of the memories they emit into peoples head's and for the harsh cold air that lingers around them. Phantoms unlike other undead can live in the open not fearing sunlight... however they cannot step anywhere near their death site.
-Vampires-
Pretty self explanatory. Vampires need to fill their thirst for blood to live and cannot go into the sunlight. They also have a great weakness to fire.
-Werebeasts-
Whether they be werewolves, werecats, or werebears.... if they are infected with lychantrhopy they are not welcomed with open arms.
-Elves-
The Elven people once ran supreme, however with the humans cutting down their woods and using their manna wells they started to die off. It is rare to see an elf but they still do exist.
-Orcs-
The ugly result of elf inbreeding. When elves were forced to mate with their own blood families to keep their population stable orcs were the result. Orcs are the most rude and but yet the most noble of all the creatures in Traum-Rand. They are best known for their warfare and their craftsmanship.
-Robots-
Alright I know what you're thinking... robots? how do they fall under creatures? Well it's simple really. The robots of Traum-Rand do have emotion and do think for themselves. Tho most robots prefer to serve under people there are some who tend to go by their own rules. Robots can range anywhere in appearance.
-Elementals-
Humans who have gone with the old ways and tapped into their magical side instead of harvesting it and putting them into serums and other enhancers. Elementals are no joke and it is best to avoid them if possible. Elementals call only have one element but their element power increases according to your rank as a member.
Every time you go up in rank alert a Admin and they will add a new abilty to your elemental.
-Demons-
Demons.... what can't be said about them? They are vile, clever, and they just don't give a damn. Demons like elementals can control a certain element but with great ease and it barely takes it's toll on them..... However their power is limited and heir element powers never evolve.
-Neko-
Ahh Nekos.... an old classic if you ask me. Nekos are cat demons. Most Nekos are harmless and very kind to people and act nothing like demons at all. The resemble humans except for they have cat ears and at tails.
-Inu-
Inus are very similar to Nekos. Instead of being cat demons they are dog demons. Inus have dog ears and dog tails and are quite friendly.
-Gaxians-
Gaxians, nasty creatures if I must say so my self. They came to Traum-Rand from a meteor that crashed not a hundred years ago. They are more frightening than orcs and far more skilled with their magical abilities than elves. However they can only see underwater any other way they become totally blind. Their look ranges, they don't have a specific look. They resemble alien like species. Their skin color always matches the color of their magic aura. Gaxians rule over Old Vey'Ghan. (Contact Xigbarspade for more info on Gaxians)
-Locusts-
The bug people of Traum-Rand. They all serve to Protect their queen. They range in look.
-Drows-
Said to be the offspring of an elf and a demon, drows are in fact another lineage of elf. Their intents, however, differ greatly from that of the elves. Preferring to be secluded, drows are rarely seen by other species other than their own. When once said to be evil, the drows retreated into mountain caves, living deep within the large swells of land. There, they spend most of their time forging weapons and armor from deep recesses of black metal. Physically, drows are weaker than elves. They are flexible and swift, making better assassins then anything else. Their height ranges between 5'7" and 6'9" at full maturity. Their aging is extremely slow, full maturity being reached at the age of 250. Most drows are easy to tell from elves due to their skin color. It ranges from deep blue or purple that is almost black to a light tan color. However, there have been some cases of albino drows, looking very much like elves. Their eyes range from purple, blue, green and sometimes gold.
Overall, drows are timid and only come into contact with other species if they are trading weapons and armor, are hired for a job, traveling or in rare events of visiting their cousins, the elves.
-Shades-
The "demonic elves". They can be as tall as seven feet and can live to over 500 years old. They reach full adult hood at 150 and can then reproduce. Shades are the result of demons and drows mating. Their skin comes in shades of dark gray to a pitch black. Their hair however can only be a bright red or a jet black. Shades are known for their stealth skills and make the best assassin's and thieves. They are highly skilled with daggers and bows.
-Moon Children-
Also known as the pale elves. They have pale skin and light hair, usually a very pale blond or white. Their eyes however are usually dark. They are not very tall, they usually are about five and a half feet at full adult hood. Moon Children are highly renowned for their medical skills and make some of the best healers in TR.
-Shape Shifters-
Shape shifters can change the way their bodies are formed in minutes, or seconds. Pigment, hair growth, bodily growth and strength are variable to the ability or the shape shifter. They can change their whole bodies to look like other creatures, elements(ex: water, trees, cannot become invisible such as wind), or people, they can +/- mass to their bodies making them larger or smaller or forming things on their body (spikes wings). They can also change their hands or feet (literally) into weapons. They are born with the ability, but have to learn to control it. They have the ability to cast simple spells, even in other forms.
Shape shifters have better control and have greater skills judging by how high your ranking is.
-Half Breeds / Mutts-
Halfbreeds can me a mixture of any race. Although most are hated and treated like outcast Halfbreeds have become more excepted amongst the people of Traum-Rand. They are referred to as mutts and aren't able to take command or belong to royalty. Half breeds can also consist of half dragons.
-Liches-
Highly powerful archmages that have an affinity for the dark arts. Archmages who have taken in the art of necromancy have found a way to make them selves immortal... but at a price. They turn themselves into the unliving and take on the appearance of the undead, when going through the transformation there magick power increases tenfold thus resulting in a Lich. Liches usually are humans but a few elves have taken practice into becoming them. Liches are unwanted by most species except for deamons, vampires and half breeds. Most Liches are found in abandoned crypts and graveyards some have been found in sewers and in citadel basements. Liches also can not breed but they do have the power to disguise themselves as humans, elves, or any other humanoid creatures (remember it is only a disguise not a transformation the disguise is broken if they enter holy territory or come within 100 yards of an angel). Only Angels and other Liches can see through their disguise. All Liches have a great weakness to holy items, weapons, or spells.
-Flashes-
Flashes were decended from the anscestors of Shape shifters, when these two peoples split they went in two different directions. Shapeshifters focused on internal manipulation, Flashes focused on external manipulation. Flashes are humanoid and look very similar to humans excelpt for the fact that their body is often long and more willowy from being literally stretched by the forces they endure. They have many nicknames and have been persecuted as much as their distant relatives the shape shifters, some are vulgar, others scientific. Some say they are telepathic and nothing more, but that isnt true. They can travel space and time, throught rifts between dimentions, they can astral project, also they can use the same powers telepaths have (control of inanimate objects and converse with their minds).
((If you have anymore ideas for creatures just post a reply here and one of the admins will go over it and accept it. Thanks.))
